Understanding Ignite Wines Tier Levels
At Ignite Wines we've developed a system of logical wine groupings called Tier Levels, which are based on average retail wine prices within a select range. These Tier Levels then create categories for us to structure our wine services offerings, like our Club Expeditions, and that also help our members learn to understand what to expect from wines within various price-points.
Veteran member's using our Cellar Stock service find this system of Tier Levels beneficial in planning their custom mix of wines to stock beyond just quantities of reds and whites, into reds and whites across a range of prices - perfect for different occasions! Tier 1's for that Wednesday spaghetti or pizza night, Tier 2 (or Tier 3) for a Weekend night to pair with an aged filet mignon with brandy peppercorn sauce or Chilean sea bass in a delicate miso broth, and Tiers 3-5 for special occasions or when you're looking to impress (depending on how extravagant you like to get with your wine).
